By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.

  1. 1. Acceptance of Terms

    These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dotinx ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

    We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect once posted on our platform. Your continued use of the platform after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

  2. 2. Eligibility and User Accounts

    • You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
    • To access certain services, you must create an account and complete Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification in compliance with Nigerian AML/CFT laws.
    • You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activities that occur under your account.
    • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, and to promptly update any changes.
    • We reserve the right to reject, suspend, or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate Nigerian laws.
  3. 3. Cryptocurrency Trading and Digital Asset Disclaimer

    • Cryptocurrency trading carries significant financial risk, including loss of funds.
    • Digital assets are volatile and may lose value rapidly.
    • Dotinx does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
    • Dotinx does not guarantee profits, returns, or specific outcomes.
    • You acknowledge that you trade at your own risk and agree that Dotinx is not responsible for losses resulting from market fluctuations or your trading decisions.

    You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with CBN, SEC, and other applicable Nigerian regulatory guidelines.

  4. 4. Prohibited Activities

    You agree not to use the Dotinx platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to:

    • Money laundering or terrorist financing
    • Fraud, identity theft, or impersonation
    • Unauthorized access or interference with our systems
    • Market manipulation or deceptive trading practices
    • Uploading or distributing malware
    • Violations of intellectual property
    • Activities prohibited under the Cybercrimes Act 2015
    • Any act that may harm Dotinx, its systems, or its users

    We reserve the right to report suspicious activities to relevant law-enforcement or regulatory bodies.

  5. 5. Fees, Charges, and Taxes

    • Dotinx may charge fees for certain services, including transaction fees, withdrawal fees, and bill-payment processing fees.
    • All applicable fees will be disclosed prior to completing a transaction.
    • We may modify our fee structure with reasonable notice.
    • You are responsible for paying all taxes, levies, or duties arising from your transactions as required by Nigerian law.
  6. 6. Intellectual Property

    All content on the Dotinx platform—including software, text, graphics, logos, images, and data—is the property of Dotinx or its licensors and is protected under Nigerian intellectual-property laws.

    You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.

  7. 7. Privacy and Data Protection

    Your personal information is processed in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and our Privacy Policy.

    By using our platform, you consent to our collection, use, and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

  8. 8. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted under Nigerian law:

    • Dotinx shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use our services.
    • Dotinx is not responsible for losses caused by market volatility, system downtime, unauthorized account access resulting from your negligence, or third-party service failures.
    • Our total cumulative liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount of fees you paid to Dotinx in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

    Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.

  9. 9. Suspension and Termination

    We may suspend or terminate your account:

    • For violating these Terms
    • For suspected fraud, illegal activity, or security risks
    • To comply with Nigerian regulatory or law-enforcement orders
    • For non-completion of KYC requirements

    Upon termination, your access to our services will cease immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.

  10. 10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
    • Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.
    • The venue for arbitration shall be Lagos, Nigeria, unless otherwise agreed.
    • The decision of the arbitrator(s) shall be final and binding.
